is there a way to charge an acer travelmate 4220 without an ac adapter?
broke my charge port. no longer attached to motherboard. was wondering if there was a way to charge my battery without it being attached to the laptop instead of fixing charge port.
Well, no there isn’t, but you might be able to get repair done at a local computer shop, and i mean a local computer shop, not best buy where most of geek squad doesn’t know their butt from a hole in the ground.
And trust me,even if it was possible to charge it, it will be a major hassle to use a laptop that you cant plug in, so just take the time to get it repaired.
I would also like to advice that you might call Acer, and ask them if they have any specific authorized repair centers in your area.

i have TRIED to get you the contact number for acer, but they have an automated pain in the assistant… and it will not supply phone contact information, and it is listed no where on the site.
