Spysweeper/windows vista compatibility issue?

I just bought a new computer that comes preinstalled with windows vista and webroot spy sweeper but the webroot software keeps telling me that vista blocked the program because of compatibility issues. I was told to register the software and ill be given download instructions to upgrade the software and make it compatible with vista. My problem is that since the software came pre-installed, I don’t have the keycode unless I open the program (which i can’t since it’s blocked). Thoughts?
